This research is based on the hypothesis that there is an evolution in the fields of research curricula for (teaching Arabic language to non-native speakers).

This development is illustrated by the multiplicity of research axes related to its issues .

This research follows the analytical descriptive approach, and its questions are: What are the reasons for the development of applied linguistics research fields? What are its most important areas? And what impact on the teaching of the Arabic language? The first topic is Applied Linguistics: Second: Applied Linguistics Research Methods; and Third: The Development of Applied Linguistic Research Methods, Conclusion, Results and Recommendations .The most important results of the research are that there has been an evolution in the applied linguistics research methods, which included many areas related to the learner and his needs, psychological characteristics, the scientific curriculum that he studies and its components, language and others, and the methods and strategies of the learner, in addition to modern forms of measurement and evaluation.

This has been positively reflected on the teaching of Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
