Abstract EN

This study has investigated grammatical reasoning according to contemporary grammarians.

more specifically, the study has determined some of the grammarians under study to review their views about grammatical reasoning and discussions in comparison with reasoning initiated by the classical grammarians.

to do this, the study aimed to arrive at the conclusion by examining some examples by ten grammarians selected by the researchers.

using descriptive approach, the researchers have concluded that the grammarians being selected have not agreed upon on the concept, type and purpose of grammatical reasoning.

moreover, the contemporary grammarians have enriched grammatical studies on grammatical reasoning.
