Abstract EN

The importance of the current study is to identify the reality of achieving cyber security in Saudi universities in the light of the 2030 vision.

the researcher followed the descriptive analytical methodology, and the research community for the study consisted of all the technical staff of three Saudi universities, namely : (Umm al-Qura university, Imam Bdulrahman Bin Faisal university), Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic university), and their number reached (468) employees, and the study adopted the random sampling method ; the number of the sample was (210) employees, and the questionnaire was adopted ; as a tool for the study, and through the results of the study, I concluded that the sample members agree to a moderate degree on the reality of achieving cyber security in Saudi universities in the light of vision 2030.

the results also showed that there is agreement to a very large degree between the vocabulary of the sample of the study on the requirements to achieve cyber security in Saudi universities in the light of vision 2030, the study presented a set of proposals, the most important of which was to educate workers about the dangers of using personal devices, represented by a mobile phone to transfer or store confidential information about the university, and to grant appropriate material and moral incentives that support and encourage distinguished and creative employees in the field of cybersecurity.
