Abstract EN

This paper deals with history of the crusades through the visions of some selected modern Algerian historians.

In fact, those historians have cared with that decisive historical era, regarding the relations between the East and West in the Middle Ages, in a way of proving that Algeria, geographically and historically, was a part of the Arab world.

Those historians offered several studies concerning with Saladin, champion of Islam in the Middle Ages, who led the Muslims to liberate Jerusalem in 1187 A.D.
