The stage of aging in the human life cycle is characterized by disability and the elderly need care by the family to which they belong or the institution in which they live instead of the family, and they are the most groups that suffer from manifestations of psychological and life pressures, the most important of which is social phobia, so the study aimed to identify manifestations of social phobia among the elderly, the researcher used the descriptive study using the social survey method, and the study was applied to a sample of 30 elderly people who live in a complex of nursing homes in al-Badiyah in Damanhour, and the most important results were that the elderly suffer from some manifestations of social phobia, the most important of which are fear of negative evaluation, fear of isolation, fear of not taking responsibility, and the results showed the existence of some difficulties that prevent the alleviation of social phobia, the most important of which is the feeling of the elderly of social exclusion, and the study recommended the need to provide support and social support needed by the elderly.
