Since ancient times, the seasons of the year vary in Egypt and all over the world.

winter is considered one of the most distinguished seasons of the year with its harsh climatic conditions; in terms of extremely low temperature, severe storms, heavy rains.

and other conditions that made to this season a special nature.

as a result, people had many attempts to take many conducts and preparations to confront and adapt with its climatic conditions.

this study aims to identify the individuals' readiness to face the climatic conditions of the winter weather at that time and how to adapt with them.

the study is limited to what was mentioned in the papyrus documents only, without what was mentioned in literary sources during the Ptolemaic and roman eras.
