The article in question presents a comparative study of the demographic dividend in the light of the demographic change lived and the development system adopted in Morocco during the last five decades.

The demographic transition in Morocco is at present in a very advanced phase following the impressive decline in the natural growth.

This decline has had important repercussions on the population pyramid whose base has narrowed considerably.

As well, the population, remaining still young, lives at the rhythm of the growth of categories in working age.

In addition, the spatial movements of the Moroccan population are not made without heavy impacts on the Moroccan territorial functioning.

The latter expresses heavy demographic, economic and social disparities in spite the efforts of the state intervention.

Consequently, the framework of life of Moroccans, multivariate, still suffocated with constraints and disparities, will condition and probably will limit the opportunities of the demographic dividend.
