Abstract EN

The village concerned here is located in the Triangle, not far from the shore of the Mediterranian Sea.

It is surrounded by the fields and orchards belonging to the village and to the neighboring towns of Tulkarem and Tayyebeh.

The word Qalansawa literally means a kind of pointed hat, and the village is called by that name because of its location on a high hill.

The history of the village goes back at least three thousand years B.C.

to the days of the Canaanites.

The village is famous for its fortress , built originally by the Crusaders and later renovated by Saladine.
