Miss ’Isa starts her article by pointing out that symbols are always there in dreams .

She stresses the important relation between symbols on the one hand and language and culture on the other .

Then she presents forty dreams collected from the field and shows the symbols and their significance in each dream .

Finally she explains that the differences between dreams issuefrom the nature of the community to which the individuals belong
