Bahr Yusuf is the main source for the delivery of the Nile waters to Fayyum Governorate, and it is one of the branches of the Abrahamic canal, starting from the mouth of the Dirut Barrage in Assiut Mar Governorate, Minya Governorate and Beni Suef Governorate, and then to Fayyum.

Bahr Yusuf is about 288,700 km long.

It therefore requires the removal of deposits, estimated at 1,283,570 million m3, compared to the proposed sections of the Masurah aquarium (52.56 km).

The main problem in the search is the reduction in the behaviour behind the Citadel aquarium from 19 m3 / d to 15.50 m3 / d due to bottlenecks and allusions along the Sea of Yousef.

Besides the aggression of the people on the Bahr Yusuf campus and the construction of sea Bridges, which led to the difficulty of maintaining the waterway in most populated reservoirs, which sometimes reach a length of 1.000 km.

Tastes and waste, especially at Bridges along the sea, have been dumped, some of the Bridges have closed, and the waste floats on top of the water.

The main objective of the research is to demonstrate the economic feasibility of efficient water transmission and distribution to accommodate a maximum discharge of 19 million m3/ day, and equitable distribution of water.

The research objectives were based on the discounted and undiscounted criteria used in the economic study to remove the sediments along the reach from Sakoula regulator to Mazoura regulator with length 52,560 km.

The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The light of net cash flows, which amounted to about 4,534737.04 million pounds.

It is a positive value.

The benefit-cost ratio was about 1.93.

The capital recovery period was about 1.79 years.

As for the rate of return on investment, it reached 55.77%.

The internal rate of return was about 25.24%.

It outweighs the bank's interest rate of about 10%.

The recommended deposition is then continued.

One of the research recommendations is to prepare a hydraulic study to determine the current carrying capacity of confinement and whether there is a need to modify the design sector or remove the recommended sediments before any special dredging measures are taken.

Periodic maintenance of disinfection work in the confinement under consideration due to the large agricultural control that serves to increase the capacity of the water discharges for the confinement service and the rest of the satellite valves, and the enforcement of the law to stop the infringements on the Bahr Yusuf Canal campus and the calibration of the barrages to ensure equitable distribution of water.
