Summary of the researchThis thesis has shed the light on the exegetical probabilities for Imam Al-Baghawi based on his book "Ma'ālim al-Tanzīl" from the cover page to conclusion.

The thesis has aimed to highlight the probabilities mentioned by Imam Al-Baghawi, and to clarify the opinions of scholars thereabout, in order to determine and get the most correct opinions on the meanings of the Quranic verses in which these probabilities have been mentioned.

The preface thereof has discussed the significance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, previous theses, the thesis plan and limits, and the methodology used therein.

As for the preface, it has talked about Imam Al-Baghawi and its book on the Qur'anic exegesis, and a definition of probability in Qur'anic exegesis (briefly).

The first topic has discussed the probabilities in Tafsir Al-Baghawi (Qur'anic exegesis book of Imam al-Baghawi) and his methodology to attain it, while the second topic has discussed the applied study, which contained the exegetical probabilities (ten probabilities) mentioned by Imam Al-Baghawi in his book, then the conclusion and the most critical results attained and recommendations
