Abstract EN

This research aimed to identify the possibility of establishing an investment waqf fund in the Jordanian Islamic Bank from the point of view of its customers.

The sample consisted of (450) traders who were randomly selected.

In order to achieve the objective of the research^ researchers followed the analytical descriptive approach in preparing the theoretical and practical aspects by reviewing the literature and previous studies related to the subject of the study.

The Reaserch was divided in to tow researches: the first: dealt with Investment Endowment fund as an Entity in Islamic Bank.

The second research is dealing with Scientific part, as a questionnaire tool was developed to measure the desire of customers to revive the waqf desire in establishing an investment waqf fund‘ the expectations of customers about the role of the Shari>ah supervisory board in establishing it* and the expectations of customers about the role of the Fund in social and economic development.

The research reached a number of results* the most important of which are: The customers of the Islamic Bank have a strong desire to participate in the investment endowment fund* where the Shari>a Supervisory Authority has a great role to implement the rules of Islamic Sharia.

In light of the findings of the research* the researchers recommended a number of recommendations* most notably: urging the Jordanian Islamic Bank to establish a private investment fund* the basic shares of which are Muqaradda bonds donated by investors* both in the Jordanian Islamic Bank or the Ministry of Awqaf in Jordan* The profits of this fund to different areas of goodness.
