The character of a great hero appeared in the Andalusian poetry especially in the works of Ibn DarrajAlqastalli.

He projected his heroes to be courageous and saviors of Islam and Muslims from the threats of Internal threats and Crusades.

The paper discusses how Ibn DarrajAlqastalli managed to express the heroic characterizations of his knight heroes highlighting their spiritual, psychological and ethical dimensions as well as their physical attributes.

In his poetry, the characters of the heroes ranged from the poet hero to the great leader.

He demonstrated the artistic construction of the hero's image through linguistic and stylistic composition, image formation, and the rhythm of the poem.

The study revealed that the image of the hero with Ibn Darraj is a mixture of the heroic poet, the warrior and the fighter, and he is a hero in peace and war.

As a result, his praise offered us a human image that had its impact on the language of poetry, its images, its methods and its rhythm, which gave an aura of honesty to this type of poetry in which the love of the warrior hero blends with the love of the Andalusian people.
