Abstract EN

One of the most important needs of developing countries, which are still suffering from poor health services, is to adopt a strategy of bringing together the public and private sectors within the framework of activating the dimensions of governance and the involvement of all health care service providers from the public and private sectors and the formal and informal sectors in providing care services in line with international standards regarding patient care and improving the quality of health services in the community, the need to adopt this strategy emerges as a result of the low quality of care in public facilities, low detection rates for cases, low treatment outcomes, delayed treatment and high costs for patients, so that this strategy contributes to improving the quality of diagnosis and treatment.

and enhancing decentralization and providing appropriate treatment opportunities for patients and reducing the indirect costs imposed on patients by bringing the available services closer to their places of residence and workplace.

accordingly, the research aims to shed light on the need to give importance to the private health sector on the part of the state, as we have learned through research that the private sector is a necessary partner to reform the health system in Algeria.
