This study seeks to examine the introduction to the critical text in which Abdallah al-Rukaibi criticized Algerian religious poetry, and to try to know the methodology followed, and the goal of this text, which is adapted to the goal of the curriculum.

the reader is interested in the critical texts of the introduction as a threshold of guidance, given that determining the curriculum is one of the conditions and criteria that control the introduction, as determined by the academic research methodology.

the author of the text is aware of the effectiveness of the threshold, its role in revealing knowledge and its performance of the function of a parallel text where he set the introduction according to its conditions, as it contributed to activating critical reading and revealed the critic's awareness of the curriculum, the mechanisms of analysis, and how they operate.
