The problem of the Iranian nuclear program remains a major source of tension and dangers for peace and security in the Middle East region, due to the extremely opposed positions of two of the protagonists of this conflict : Israel supported by the United States on one side, and Iran on the other.

there was an attempt to find a middle ground, through the 2015 nuclear deal, an agreement that recognized Iran's right to mastery of nuclear technology, but at the same time tried to block its path to nuclear military.

this solution was aborted by the withdrawal of the said agreement decided by president Trump in may 2018, at the instigation of Israel and the Jewish lobby.

now the Biden administration is trying to reactivate the 2015 agreement, however several new factors prevent a swift return to the agreement, and on the contrary, perhaps they would even lead to a destructive military confrontation for the region, which would like to elucidate this study.
