Abstract EN

The study aimed to measure and analyzes the effect of Strategic Orientation in human resources development at Jordanian Telecommunications Companies, the study’s population consisted of (3) Jordanian Telecommunications companies.

The analysis unit consisted of (350) managers in top and middle level managements (Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice President, Executive Director, Branch Manager).

The study conducted a comprehensive survey of all elements of the study population using the questionnaire as a key tool to collect the required data.

The study used the statistical package (SPSS, V.25), and followed the descriptive - analytical approach.

The study found that there is a statistically significant effect at the significance level of (α≤0.05) for strategic orientation with its combined dimensions (Entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, technology orientation) in human resources development with its combined dimensions (Performance appraisal, Training, Career path) at Jordanian Telecommunications Companies.

Also The study found that there is a statistically significant effect for strategic orientation with its combined dimensions in Performance appraisal, and the study found that there is a statistically significant effectfor strategic orientation with its combined dimensions in Training, and the found that there is a statistically significant effect for strategic orientation with its combined dimensions in Career path.

The study recommended the necessity of the Jordanian telecommunications companies to promote strategic orientation, to benefit from its outputs in developing telecommunications services in order to meet customer needs.
