Abstract EN

The current study aimed at investigating the phases that the relationship between the Moroccan regime and the Islamic political parties witnessed during the study period.

The importance of the study stems from highlighting the ability of the Islamic parties to enter the arena of political life and to prove themselves by coming to power This study is based on the basic hypothesis that “The political transformations that were associated with the Arab Spring have a positive effect on the nature of the relationship between the Moroccan regime and the Islamic parties”.

The study adopted the analytical descriptive approach to control the study topic, and employed the comparative approach to identify its phases.

The researcher also employed the systems approach The study reached numerous results, the most important of which is that Islamic political parties have led the Moroccan regime to use its own version of political Islam to counter the rise of Islamic movements This study concluded with a number of recommendations which include the necessity to formulate a clear vision in dealing with Moroccan Islamic parties, as one of the political components of the governing system.
