Abstract EN

This research aimed to identify the obstacles of strategic planning implementation in sports clubs in Gaza strip from the point of view of the members of the clubs councils.

The researchers used the “Descriptive Analytical” approach.

They used a questionnaire as a research tool.

The study population was represented by the 234 members of the clubs councilsin Gaza Strip and wasimplemented using the complete censussurvey, the collected questionnaires were (214), with a response rate (91.45%).

Results: (1) The financial resources needed for sports clubs and economic instability in the region are the most administrative obstacles for strategic planning in sports clubs.

(2) There is no benefit from the regional strategic planning experiences at the level of local clubs.

(3) There is statistically significant difference in the respondents’ responses according to the variables; (the province, qualification, specialization, and training courses), and no differences according to the variables; (age, job title, and experience).

Recommendations: Promoting the interest by providing a special budget forthe sports clubs to apply the strategic planning.

(2) In the favor of exchanging experiences locally and regionally, there is necessity to coordinating and institutional networking among sports clubs.

(3) Enhancement the strategic planning culture into the sports clubs to becomes an essential part of the whole system in the sports clubs.
