This research shines a bright light on the history of one of the most prominent scientific institutions in Iraq, and we mean by Al-Mustansiriya University, where it dealt with the history of this university since its establishment during the era of Abdul Salam Muhammad Aref (8 February 1963-13 April 1966), and the era of his brother Abdul Rahman Muhammad Aref (April 1966 -17, July 1968), which was called the two covenants, the Arfi era, which is a political era that is politically unstable, which casts a shadow over the university march.

In addition, the research continued the university’s march during the reign of Ahmed Hassan Al-Bakr (17 July 1968-16 July 1979), which was a stable era, albeit in relative terms, which made Al-Mustansiriya University to witness an administrative and scientific development where many scientific and humanitarian colleges were opened as well as Creating new departments with a significant expansion in admission at the level of the morning and evening studies.
