The phenomenon of climate extremism is of great importance in climate studies because of its great effects on different aspects of life, and the study aims to vary the behaviors of the phenomenon studied in the province of Najaf, which is characterized by the repetition of the phenomenon of climate extremism, such as high temperature, heat waves, minimum heat, cold waves, extreme winds and dusty phenomena.

On the phenomenon of frost and hail, so the daily ritual data and its repetitions were adopted during the period (1997- 2018), which is sufficient to track these phenomena, especially in the summer season.

(58 heat waves), as for the minimum temperatures below (1 ° C), they reached (59 days), and cold waves reached (34 cold waves), while the study area was exposed to extreme winds, the speed in the hot season and the transitional seasons, at (848 iterations) in various The speed, as for the dust phenomena, has reached (112 repetitions) as it increases during two seasons: spring and summer due to the increase in temperatures and the increase in the speed of extreme winds.
