Abstract EN

The current paper aims to shed light on the significant role that writings of the Maghreb nomads have on highlighting the most important routes and itineraries of Maghreb pilgrimage passengers in the Algerian desert and the easy and ragged roads in these desert regions as well as the transition stations in the interior regions of Algeria, where the pilgrims from far east and west gathered and departed in one wave to the holy sites.

These trips formed a solid episode to shed light on the most important Algerian urban cities during the Ottomon period.

To demonstrate this, it was necessary to stand on some general concepts associated with Maghreb pilgrims that passed through the Algerian lands during the Ottoman era, along with the Algerian pilgrims during the studied period
