Abstract EN

This research aims to reveal the reform approach taken by sheikh Abdul Hamid Bin Badis and compare it to modern reform approaches at the reference and purpose level.

using the historical approach, relying on the analysis mechanism, the following conclusions have been reached : rely on the method of reforming the predecessors while opening up to modern approaches based on the specificity of the Algerian people and their environment, and the nation has reaped the fruits of these efforts after a while at the level of the behavior of the individual and society.

in the light of these findings, the study suggests that its method of reform and its approach to education and behavior should be inspired, taking into account the time and space and changes that have taken place in society.
