This research aims to show the transition of the reformist discourse of the Algerian poet and critic R.Hamoud from reforming poetry and then writing, educational, artistic and behavioral values to reforming society, using the cultural analysis approach based on begging the cultural prevalent to understand the discourse.

and the systemic mechanisms at other times, by applying them to the poetic sample, represented in a group of his poetic poems and critical speeches, and the following results were reached : Hammoud tried to recover and reform the poetic present, and then change the taste of the recipient and reform his psychological and emotional state.

in light of these findings, the study suggests re-reading the man's writings in the light of the reformist vision he adopted.
