Abstract EN

The form of religious preaching in the late Abbasid ages is a phenomenon worthy of research and study, and it includes some preachers doing official tasks which is the result of the relationship of those preachers with power, so they had a distinctive political role.

the research aims to highlight the political role of Muhieddin Yusef Ibn al-Jawzi through the tasks entrusted to him by the Abbasid caliphate and his role in social conditions through his job in (Hisba).

as well as looking at the general endowment as well as its political role internally and externally in uniting the Islamic forces, especially with the kings of Bani Ayoub and the rest of the powers affiliated with the caliphate nominally and administratively and resolving their internal problems to confront the crusaders, and the role of Muhieddin Yusef Ibn al-Jawzi also emerges during the embassies that he was performing and which were pouring in the interest of the Abbasid caliphate and making it the influential opinion in the Islamic countries, the figure of Muhyiddin Yusuf Ibn al-Jawzi had a role in achieving this, while he paved the way for his children to fill political positions and carry out his tasks that he previously performed, and that made his family had an effect on the internal and foreign policy of the Abbasid caliphate.
