Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze the problematic of the relationship between the university and development in Algeria, by identifying the reasons that led to the decline of the university's role in economic and developmental act, in addition to proposing alternatives and strategic options that are able to bridge the gap between the university formation and the economic and developmental environment in Algeria, hence, achieving the required alignment between university outputs, economic requirements and labor market needs.

this research paper concluded that bridging this gap between university formation and the economic environment in Algeria calls for strengthening partnerships between universities and economic institutions, reform of teaching programs and adoption applied formation, and work to embody the model "university enterprise".
