Abstract EN

This study aims to review the effects resulting from the outbreak of the new corona virus in Algerian cities, and to clarify the implications of the decisions issued by the Algerian authorities to confront the outbreak of this epidemic on the dynamics of Algerian cities, and how this spread exacerbated the economic, financial and social crises related to the city, as a place where the population gathered, whether for the purpose of residency or their need for the services that they offer to the population, or even for the purpose of work and earning a living.

the suspension of commercial activities and the full stop of all urban transport has brought cities into a cycle of stagnation and turned them into isolated areas where almost all the symbols of life disappear.

the study also found that the corona pandemic has caused severe damage the largest part of which has been incurred by the citizen.

in the end, the study concluded by evaluating the decisions adopted by the Algerian government in combating the corona epidemic ; despite its economic repercussions, but the overriding goal was to preserve the lives of citizens.
