The concept of soft power is a relatively recent, although it has ancient applications.

However, the first person who declared it and demanded its application was the American political scientist "Joseph Nye" in the eighties of the last century at that time.

Soft power had known as the description of the ability to attract and annex without coercion or use of force.

As a means of persuasion in recent times, the term has been used to influence social, public opinion and change it, through relatively less transparent channels, and pressure through political and non-political organizations, the United Nations as an international organization has various means to enforce its decisions on its member states, including the means that rely on hard power using force Compulsion as it has methods based on soft power, i.e.

persuasion and influence that makes states follow those principles and decisions of the United Nations on their own.

The mechanisms of soft power that the United Nations possesses should be strengthened through the formation of a permanent committee that closely follows up the cases in which the United Nations can intervene in it by using soft power strategies to resolve conflict and promote peace.
