Abstract EN

Praise be to allah, prayer and peace be upon the messenger of allah: i have prefaced this research entitled "legal penance issues and provisions; a jurisprudential study", with an introduction in which i explained the importance of the topic, followed by an explanation of the research’s plan and approach.

Then, i have arranged the search in eleven requirements as follows: first requirement: definition of penance in language and terminology.

Second requirement: the wisdom of penances legislating.

Third requirement: the difference between penance and ransom.

Fourth requirement: are penances forbidding or rewarding? Fifth requirement: the principle of the legality of penances, and the reasons for their obligation.

Sixth requirement: the provision of taking out the value in penance.

Seventh requirement: the transfer of penance outside the country.

Eighth requirement: the representation in the penance, and the power of attorney to take out and distribution.

Ninth requirement: paying penance between promptness and laxity.

Tenth requirement: the provision of giving penances to non-muslims.

Eleventh requirement: non obligation of penance.

Then the research concluded with a conclusion, an index of sources and topics.
