Abstract EN

The prostration of the players after scoring a goal is one of the contemporary issues that have been dealt with a lot and the opinions of contemporary jurists differ in their ruling, some say it is permissible while other prevent it.

Hence, there is an urgent need for a jurisprudential research that reveals these sayings and shows their evidence and the objections to them, then weighing them.

This research is meant to account for all these issues.

It is also meant to talk about the origin of the prostration of gratitude whether it is legitimate or not? That is because the prostration of gratitude is not a place of concord among the first generation of Fiqh scholars, as some of them see it as illegitimate, and others see that it as legitimate and each of these parties have their own evidence as it is explained in this research.
