This study is summarized in answering a problem centered on the current reality of African startups, as it aims to describe the opportunities and challenges faced by startups in Africa, identify the most important digital startups, and analyze the impact of the Covid pandemic on this type of companies.

It was found that the Covid-19 pandemic affected some sectors in the countries of the African continent without the other, as it witnessed a slowdown in startups specialized in logistics services, compared to Those directed to the sectors of financial technology, e-health and renewable energies.
