Abstract EN

Technological development had a great impact on the commercial environment, including even commercial papers, between their traditional or electronic nature, we decided that our study should be limited to three points regarding its traditional and electronic definition, and the content of the regulation that it enjoyed in some of the Arab legislation included in our study, similar to all from (Algerian, Tunisian, Moroccan, Emirati, Jordanian, as well as Iraqi legislation), which proved the reality of the legal vacuum regulating its provisions in their electronic form, which required the application of the provisions of their traditional counterpart to them, as a basic point of our topic, traditional or electronic commercial papers perform important economic functions, as a means of transferring money, and as a tool of fulfillment, and credit.

some of them participated in the performance of all kinds of papers, and some of them were limited to performing the functions of fulfillment and exchange without credit.
