Abstract EN

This study aimed to build an econometric model that permits to determine the effect of financial investment on the economic growth in Algeria by using simple econometric tools.

therefore, we had determined a set of economic growth indicators of an economic formula based mainly on the available data related to the Algerian economy.

the data used for the econometric study had been obtained from statistics published in the national office of statistics in addition of other statistics collected from international economic organizations as the international monetary fund and the world bank, where the analysis is based on the data series of the Algerian economy during the period (1999-2013).

the main results found from this paper are that the available statistics data allowed us to some important statistical and economic conclusions as the relationship between the performance of stock exchange and the overall economic activity.
