Abstract EN

The study ended with a set of results, summarized in the following points: 1- The visual images related to women at the time of empowerment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and their pictorial themes framed a unit of time starting in 2017 and extending to the year 2020.

A new reality was revealed that contradicts a previous reality in which women’s rights were absent.

2- Through these creative visual images, iconic signs emerged from four dimensions: shapes, sizes, colors, and the gradual value of light between depth and intensity.

These signs, in their interaction with mental perceptions, expressed the local cultural values of the Saudi society.

3- The visual images were characterized by seriousness and accuracy.

The seriousness was evident in the topics covered, and the accuracy in choosing the components and elements of the images - in general - that express the environment in which I grew up, and that are representative of the Saudi Arabian culture, to the exclusion of other cultures, has emerged due to the specificity of clothing and interests.

4- The discourse of empowering Saudi women proved in the selected sample that the intent was directed by two main values - even if the strategies for its presentation differ - namely the value of equality and the value of participation, a gain that drove women in Saudi Arab society from the reality of marginalization to action and giving.
