Abstract EN

The study sheds light on Jordanian Journalists' Attitudes towards the Professional and Ethical Dimensions of the Jordanian Electronic News and the extent to which these networks are considered as a reliable source of information.

This descriptive study used the survey methodology, and the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information on a sample of 245 Jordanian journalists.

The study revealed that %14.7 of respondents believe that the Jordanian electronic news networks are "always" a reliable source of information, while %72.7 believe that they are "sometimes" reliable source of information, and %10.6 believe that they are not a reliable source of information.

The results also indicated that%56.3 of respondents believe that the Jordanian electronic news networks "sometimes" provide a vision of events that differs from the traditional media, while %17.6 believe that the Jordanian electronic news networks "always" provide a vision of events that differs from the traditional media and %24.1 believe that the they do not provide a vision that differs from traditional media.
