Abstract EN

This research studies some of the principles of text linguistics and its contributions in the linguistic analysis of texts.

Three prayers ''Doaa '' of the prophet peace upon him, were chosen to apply the criteria of this art on them and to benefit from the giving of this art to reveal some of the secrets of this dignified language.

This research included two sections : the first section is theoretical which speaks about the definition of the art in the Arab heritage and the difference between the syntax of the sentence and the syntax of the text.

The second section is practical and the prayers which we applied on are Istikhara prayer , sleep prayer, and the prophet's prayer to Anas Bin Malek and they are taken from Sahih Bukhari and the criteria which the research applied on the prayers are: criteria concerning syntactic coherence such as referring , conjunction , omission and the criteria of linguistic coherence such as repetition and inclusion .

this research also showed sides of miraculous language of the speech of the prophet peace be upon him.
