Abstract EN

Field training is the cornerstone of career preparation and training programs because it helps trainees learn about their career problems and move gradually to adaptation with them.

The issue of the quality of professional preparation is one of the central issues in the College of Arts and Social Sciences.

To prepare their students, it has become necessary for all departments to start from a set of standards that are called quality standards to reach an effective educational product.

Hence, field training in accordance with quality standards, as one of the basic components and the core of the professional preparation process, is an important issue that must be followed by field training in the College of Arts and Social Sciences.

The study aimed to identify students' attitudes toward field training in light of the total quality standards.

This study is descriptive and used social survey method on a sample of (203) field training students in different departments of the college.

As for the study tools, the research team designed a three-part questionnaire to achieve the study objective.

The current study reached several results, the most important of which is that the level of satisfaction with the quality of the operations adopted by academic departments in the field of organization and management of field training activities and programs was high.

Also, students' attitudes towards the effectiveness of the field training environment in the institutions and the supervision mechanisms for field training were very high.

As for the effectiveness of evaluations of field training activities, students' satisfaction with evaluation of training activities by departments and institutions was somehow high, and finally the focus of students' access to field training was somehow high.

Based on the results of the study, a number of recommendations were stated along with the people responsible for their implementation.
