Abstract: The research discusses rain days in Saudi Arabia.

Rain days represent the other side of rains as well as rainfall.

Rain days mean the day that receives rainfall from 0.2mm and more during 24 hours starting at 9 o'clock in the morning.

It should be noticed that World Weather Service gives fractions in rain days such as 0.5 unlike normal weather stations.

The research main goal is to discuss rain days on several levels: monthly, seasonally, and annually, as well as rain days variations.

The importance of studying rain days in Saudi Arabia comes as a result of the fact that no study has been conducted so far regarding rain days in contrast with rainfall in particular, and there is a lack of rain days studies in general.The research is based on time span of 30 years stating from 1982 to 2011.

The researcher gained the data from the World Weather Information Service affiliated to the World Meteorological Organization for 16 location distributed through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since there are no weather stations in some locations such as Sharorah.

Several statistical methods were used such as Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Cluster Analysis, Coefficient of Variation as well as percentages.
