Abstract EN

According to the Saudi mothers’ point of view in Riyadh, this study aims to define the types of aggressive behavior among children who use electronic games.

To achieve this objective, a questionnaire containing three principal axes was carried out on a group of 613 mothers.

The first axis deals with physical aggressive behavior among children who use electronic games.

The second axis concerns the types of verbally aggressive behavior.

The third axis involves some solutions to reduce physical and verbally aggressive behavior.

The study found a response with an intermediate degree on all questionnaire items describing the types of physical and verbally aggressive behavior among children who use electronic games.

Likewise, there is a response with a high degree on all these items.

Although the study found statistically significant differences among the sample regarding the types of physically aggressive behavior axis due to the gender variable in favor of males, there were no statistically significant differences among the sample concerning the axis of verbally aggressive behavior patterns due to the gender variable.
