From this point of view, the guerrilla department sought to intensify the ground bunkers (PEJEROS) in order to take refuge in them and protect themselves from the danger of being pursued by the colonial authorities, after every guerrilla operation that takes place inside the city or its suburbs, and this method was the best way to exhaust the capabilities of the colonial authorities.
