Abstract EN

Purpose: This research aims to identify the role of Orientalism in the building of Jewish society and how Orientalism and Occidentalism were used in the occupation of Palestine during its transition into a Jewish state.

It also aims to shed light on how Jewish society was empowered through the knowledge gained by Orientalism and Occidentalism.

The study reveals that both Orientalism and Occidentalism have been the most important means used by Jewish people to attain power through knowledge.

Methodology: The main methods used in the research are the descriptive analytical and historical methods.

Findings: The findings of this study increase the knowledge of the importance of Orientalism and Occidentalism in the creation and structuring of Jewish society and the knowledge of the cross-cultural empowerment of Jewish minorities and societies.

Originality: The research is new in its attempt to underscore the important roles of Orientalism and Occidentalism in the building and structuring of Jewish society.
