Abstract EN

The research deals with the political isolation of the rulers of the state during the Umayyad era.

The word (isolation) comes individually without being associated with the word “political” in many books of Islamic history when indicating the isolation of a caliph, sultan, or any public figure in the state.

In addition, these books include near-synonyms of the word „isolation‟, such as „exclusion - confinement - deportation - expulsion - exile - and dislocation‟ which can be considered as degrees of political isolation.

During the era of the Umayyad state in Andalusia, there were many political changes and events at the internal and external levels, which had an impact on the political side and the system of government, in addition to their effects on many other aspects.

This affected the formation of the Andalusian society.

The Andalusian society consisted of the ruling class which included the owners of power, influence and reign The other class is the ruled which included the clergymen of judges, scholars, jurists, merchants, craftsmen, commons and slaves.
