Abstract EN

The research aimed to build a scale of psychological escape for those who are recovered and contacted patients of Corona and to identify their psychological escape.

To transfer the research problem into practice, the researchers adopted three goals and one hypothesis, and to achieve these goals and verify the validity of the hypothesis, the researchers followed the steps of the comparative descriptive research approach, and the research sample included those who recovered and contacted patients of Corona registered with Basra Health Departments for the year 2020-2021, the size of each sample was (280) individuals.

The researchers adopted the "Roy F.

Baumeister 1990" model when constructing the psychological escape scale, and the psychometric properties of the scale were extracted and the apparent validity and the factorial validity of the scale were checked, and the reliability coefficient was calculated, which reached (0.830) for the sample of the recovered, and for the sample of the contacted is (0.728).

The researchers used the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) to analyze the data of the collected sample.

The results showed that the two samples, according to the gender variable, had a high psychological escape after obtaining averages that were all higher than the hypothetical mean value of the scale.

If the two samples are equal in the level of psychological escape, there will be no differences between the two samples on the scale, according to the gender variable, any statistical significance.

The research ended with a set of recommendations and suggestions.
