Abstract EN

The current research aims to know the type of relationship and the level of its significance between the psychological escape variable and self-concealment among the recovering and those who are in contact with patients of corona.

To transfer this problem to the field of research, the researchers adopted six basic goals and five hypotheses.

In order to achieve these goals and verify the validity of the hypotheses, the researchers followed the steps of the comparative correlative descriptive approach.

To fulfill the requirements of this research, the researchers built two research tools (psychological escape and self-concealment).

For the purpose of verifying the validity of the two research tools and their suitability to the research sample, the two research tools were presented to a committee of specialized arbitrators.

After confirming the psychometric properties of the two tools, the researchers applied them to the basic research sample that was drawn intentionally and whose size is (560) examined.

And by (280) recovered (280) suspected.

To analyze the collected data, the researchers used the SPSS program to analyze them statistically and get the results, which showed that the two research samples and of both sexes had a high psychological escape, and a large percentage of them practice self-concealment, but the results did not show any differences between the two samples in psychological escape and self-concealment according to the gender variable.

The research also concluded that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation between the two variables, and the superiority of those who have recovered over those who are suspected with the type of relationship between psychological escape and self-concealment.

In light of the results of the research, the researchers presented a set of recommendations to the intended authorities and a number of suggestions to the researchers.
