Abstract EN

This paper aims at identifying social isolation among a sample of university students in light of e-learning.

It also aims at knowing the statistical differences of the scale of social isolation according to (gender, class, and field).

The research sample consisted of (199) male and female students from the College of Education for Human Sciences and College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Basra, for the academic year 2020-2021.

The results showed the following : 1.

The research sample is does not suffer by social isolation.

2.

No statistically significant differences in social isolation according to the gender variable.

3.

Statistical significant differences in social isolation according to the ‘class’ variable.

4.

No statistically significant differences in social isolation according to the field or specialization variable.
