Abstract EN

The accumulation of scientific research and scientific messages led to a wide expansion in human geographical trends, which began to concern many of those interested in the field of geography theorizing at the level of content and field, and according to the horizon and sense of some geographic researchers, geographers became imprinted on development.

this is undoubtedly a factor in the success of geographers in demonstrating the value of knowledge that will be provided in the spatial domain for development programs.

perhaps the problem is not the expansion of trends as much as the problem is in the criteria that can be set for these trends.

the screening of university thesis lists in Saudi Universities showed the tendencies of graduate students towards trends that are almost frequent, and this is logical and acceptable in light of the different geographical environments of study areas in each university.
