Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف إلى العلاقة بين الذكاء الثقافي و التكيف النفسي و الاجتماعي لدى طلبة جامعة الكويت، و استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بشقيه التحليلي و الارتباطي لمناسبته لأهداف الدراسة، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة المتمثلة في الكشف عن مستوى الذكاء الثقافي و التكيف النفسي و الاجتماعي لدى افراد العينة جرى تطوير مقیاسین : هما مقياس الذكاء الثقافي، و مقياس التكيف النفسي و الاجتماعي، و تم التحقق من مؤشرات صدقهما و ثباتهما، طبقت على عينة من طلبة الجامعة تم اختيارها بالطريقة العشوائية العنقودية على مستوى الشعبة، و بلغت ( 570 ) طالبا و طالبة، و توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها : وجود مستوى متوسط من الذكاء الثقافي و التكيف النفسي و الاجتماعي، و وجود علاقة ارتباطية ايجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة ( 0.05(α≤ بين الذكاء الثقافي و أبعاد ( المعرفة، ما وراء المعرفة الدافعية السلوك ) من ناحية و التكيف النفسي و الاجتماعي و بعديه التكيف النفسي، و التكيف الاجتماعي ) من ناحية أخرى، و تبين كذلك إمكانية التنبؤ بالتكيف النفسي و الاجتماعي من خلال الذكاء الثقافي، كما دلت النتائج على عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05(α≤ في كل من الذكاء الثقافي و التكيف النفسي و الاجتماعي تعزى لمتغير الجنس و التخصص، بينما تبين وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى للسنة الدراسة و كانت لصالح السنوات الأعلى.

English Abstract

The current study aimed at identifying the relationship between cultural intelligence and the ability to psychological and social adaptation among Kuwait University students, the study used the descriptive approach with both analytical and correlative, to achieve the objectives of the study.

Two scales: the Cultural Intelligence Scale and the Psychological and Social Adaptation Scale were developed, the indicators of their validity and reliability were verified.

They were applied to a sample of university students chosen by a random, stratified, cluster method, the sample consisted to (570) male and female students.

The study found a set of results, the most important of which are: the presence of a medium level of cultural intelligence, psychological and social adjustment, and the existence of a positive correlation relationship with statistical significance at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between cultural intelligence and the dimensions (knowledge, metacognition, motivation, behavior) of On the one hand, psychological and social adaptation and its dimensions (psychological adjustment, social adaptation) on the other hand, and the possibility of predicting psychological and social adaptation through cultural intelligence, as well as the results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) in both intelligence Cultural, psychological and social adaptation is attributed to the variable of sex and specialization, while it was found that there are statistically significant differences attributable to the year of study and were in favor of the higher years.
