the psychotherapy is considered the most important field in clinical psychology, which has had many major successes that have contributed to its evolution, among the most prominent we find psychoanalysis which has tried to take care of psychological disorders, but it has been subjected to many criticisms and divisions.

In this article, we will present an overview of the development of psychotherapy in the context of psychoanalysis, with highlighting the most important contributions of its pioneers and the most reviews and common criticisms.
