Abstract EN

This study sheds light on the reality of sex education among adolescent girls.

It applies the descriptive methodology on a sample of 45 teenage girls and employs an interview form as a tool for data collection.

The main findings of this research are as follows: -The concept of sex education, sex, and the wedding night is positive among the majority of the girls.

-The girls learned about sex from close friends or bad companions.

-The girl-mother relationship does not allow discussion of sex topics because the girls respect their mothers or because of feeling shy.

For this reason, the girls discuss such topics with others.

- -The age of learning the first knowledge about sex happens during adolescence.

The girls' attitude towards puberty and the physiological changes of their body is positive.

-The girls find difficulties in some sexual topics and they do not have enough information about them.
