The research study aims to try to know the role played by social networking sites as a new actor within the framework of modern technology, through which users practice participatory activities of a political nature, and these sites played important political roles in the movement that Algeria witnessed during the year 2019, which contributed to strengthening and developing awareness Political, social networks have become a space to support virtual mobilization to engineer political awareness by spreading the values of participatory and freedom of expression in issues of public concern, and the study concluded that modern means of communication have a role in reformulating political awareness through the expression of opinion rejecting political reality.
